Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
- Step 2: Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then set aside
- Step 3: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent
- Step 4: Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning
- Step 5: Stir in the marinara sauce, dried basil, and dried oregano, and bring the sauce to a simmer
